Starfire Industries LLC is a developer of advanced plasma technologies with application to space propulsion (aerospace/defense), nuclear fusion (homeland security/energy), and industrial processing (semiconductor/materials). Our vision is to apply small business flexibility to high-risk, high-payback R/R&D efforts to fulfill challenging commercial needs.

 

Starfire has several promising technologies in each of these areas, including: the Planar Hall Thruster for dual-mode satellite propulsion, the “nGen” plasma neutron generator for on-line analysis and security inspection, and a microdischarge array light source for EUV photolithography.
